Disney Cruise Line named best for families for 10th year
The Disney Cruise Line has been named the Best Cruise Line for Families by the U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best Cruise Lines Rankings for the 10th consecutive year.
Released this morning, the 2024 rankings highlight 17 cruise lines factoring in expert evaluations of cruise ship quality, reputation among travelers, results from health assessments conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other factors, such as price class and itinerary offerings.
U.S. News ranks the cruise lines in six categories: Best Cruise Lines for the Money, Best Cruise Lines for Families, Best Cruise Lines for Couples, Best Cruise Lines in the Caribbean, Best Cruise Lines in the Mediterranean and Best Luxury Cruise Lines.
New for the 2024 edition: U.S. News tapped several cruise experts to share personal experiences and insider tips, included in the profile and ship reviews, to help travelers better understand what sets various cruise lines apart.
“This year has seen an enormous resurgence in the popularity of cruises,” said Nicola Wood, senior travel editor at U.S. News. “After the unprecedented cruising shutdown during the peak of the pandemic, people are eager to sail the world’s oceans and tour multiple destinations in a single trip. The Best Cruise Lines rankings provide a variety of cruise recommendations, making it easy for cruisers to choose the best options for them.”
Disney not only ranked first for Best Cruise Line for Families, but also first for Best Cruise Line in the Caribbean.
