Adventureland Treehouse grand opening at Disneyland on Nov. 10
In an eagerly anticipated announcement, Disneyland Resort has revealed that the Adventureland Treehouse, inspired by Walt Disney’s iconic “Swiss Family Robinson,” will swing open its welcoming doors to visitors on Nov. 10, 2023.
This eagerly awaited attraction is set to transport park goers to the lush treetops of Adventureland, promising a fresh and captivating story for a new generation of adventurers. The treehouse was previously the Tarzan Treehouse.
The Adventureland Treehouse pays homage to the original treehouse conceived by Walt Disney and his visionary Imagineers in 1962 as a tribute to the timeless classic film, “Swiss Family Robinson.” But this modern incarnation brings an exciting twist to the narrative, breathing new life into this cherished Disney attraction.
Nestled among the grand boughs of the towering trees, the Adventureland Treehouse invites visitors to explore the abode of the Robinson family, featuring distinct areas tailored to each family member’s passions and pursuits.
The mother’s music den harmoniously resonates with the melodies of her harp, lute, guitar, and organ, filling the home with cheerful tunes. The sons have curated a lush nature room, teeming with an astounding collection of plants and animals living in perfect harmony. At the zenith of the treehouse, the daughter’s astronomer’s loft boasts unparalleled views of the night sky, where she diligently tracks stars, planets, and comets with her array of telescopes.
