A roundup of Nightmare Before Christmas figurines

The King and Queen of Halloween, Jack Skellington and Sally, have proven to be great design inspiration: There they are, decked out in Halloween formalwear, she in a full-skirted patchwork gown, he bowing in a floor-length black cape. There they are ready for Christmas, wearing matching floor-length red coats, edged in Santa White, he carrying a burlap sack of toys. And that’s not even scratching the surface (Jim Shore, anyone?).

This year there is an especially great collection of Jack and Sally figurines available, some new and some still haunting us from last year.

One captures the couple in a romantic embrace wearing what is described as “elegant funeral attire.” Another set (each sold separately) is part of the Botanical Collection from Disney Showcase. Here’s sally, with sculpted thistles and vines cascading down the side of her dress. And here’s Jack, sporting an orange and black pin-striped suit, surrounded by pumpkins, thistles and vines.

These are just a few of the collectibles featuring the Nightmare Before Christmas this Halloween that we’ve included below. We also threw in a wicked cat siren figurine that lets out a wail when you crank its tail, just like the emergency broadcast system of Halloweentown.
