Dora Milaje teach potential allies at Avengers Campus, Disneyland Resort

Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus has become the stage for an awe-inspiring showcase by none other than the legendary Dora Milaje. Hailing from the renowned nation of Wakanda, these fierce warriors have captivated audiences with their unparalleled skills and storytelling.

General Okoye teaches the ways of the Dora Milaje, from Marvel’s “Blank Panther,” during the Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje which is performed a half dozen times a day.

The performance begins outside the Avengers Headquarters as Okoye and a number of Dora Milaje walk to a central area where onlookers can watch. The commanding presence of Okoye, the revered leader of the Dora Milaje exude authority. She talks about the audience warriors being an ally of Dora Milaje and presents the values the group before going over some combat moves.

The performance ends with an uplifting message about working with allies. “Not only have we assembled a brave, strong group of warrior allies ready for their next mission but we have all seen your honor and compassion here today.

“Look around at your allies,” Okoye instructs the audience, encourage people to look at others in the audience. “See them and let yourselves be seen. You are each warriors in your own way and you will over come. Continue in these ways and you will leave each place much better than you have found it.
