Disney creates best Zillow house listing ever for Haunted Mansion
The folks over at Disney have created a hilarious Zillow ad as part of its promotion for the upcoming “Haunted Mansion” film complete with virtual tour and home details at a price of about $134 to $256 a square foot, I suppose that varies depending on when the rooms expand and contract.
The 13,195-square foot five bedroom, two bath home is in New Orleans. And that is your first red flag, before you go deeper into the description – only two baths in a 13,000 square foot home is very scary.
Built in 1823, the mansion is heated with Brimstone fireplaces and cools without notice. It also includes hot and cold running chills.
The home is described as
Only minutes from downtown New Orleans, just outside the city on a secluded bayou road, this property, which dates back to the late 19th century, has been miraculously preserved in its original condition. It is important to disclose that this property is indeed haunted, and its inhabitants inflict terror and promise eternal entrapment to all who enter. We are certain that you will find this place irresistible and promise that once you see it in person, you will find it impossible to leave it behind.

The listing goes on to provide details of various interior rooms such as the foyer (“A grand entryway with statues that threaten your life”), the ballroom (“Lovely space where ghostly souls celebrate and imprison”) and attic (“A foreboding room, a miserable unliving bride included).
The listing also contains a virtual walk-through of the mansion with the Zillow agent where you get to experience what the house looks like.
Oh, the cost for this spectacular spooky home – your soul.

The movie, based on the Disneyland attraction, is released in theaters on July 28.
