4 changes coming to Disney Springs, including new eatery, new shop
There’s a number of changes taking place at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World including some new Indian cuisine, a candle locations and some changes to other storefronts.
Here’s a look at the changes taking place.
Scheduled to open in fall 2023, a new quick-service eatery “EET by Maneet Chauhan” will open in the area that was home to Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace area.
Maneet Chauhan, the acclaimed James Beard Award-winning chef and Food Network star, and Vivek Deora, an international hospitality entrepreneur, are opening the loaction.
Also opening this fall will be a permanent store front for Bowes Signature Candles, this is the business that has had spaces in the Marketplace Co-Op and is known for creating scents that you can find at various theme parks and resorts.
Bowes Signature Candle is taking the place of the former Sosa Family Cigars in the West Side of Disney Springs, located between Pele Socer and Salt & Straw.
The Sunglass Hut in the West Side of Disney Springs is now open after a multim
After a multi-month refurbishment, Sunglass Hut in the Disney Springs West Side is now open. The location feels more spacious than before and features an array of mirrors along the ceiling with two islands of sunglasses and display spaces along all of the interior walls.
Lastly, Everything But Water at Disney Springs will be closed starting July 20, 2023. The last day of operation is on July 19. Located in the covered area of the Town Center at Disney Springs, Everything But Water sells swimwear, resortwear, and accessories. According to the company’s website the store is temporarily closed and is expected to reopen in November 2023.
