New TRON Identity Program merchandise experience coming

Disney is adding to its various merchandise experiences like the Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop, this time at Magic Kingdom with the Tron Identity Program.

The new experience offers guests a customizable “Program” action figure and identity chip that can be used to “re-program” other merchandise such as the interactive Identity Discs and Remote Control Lightcycles.  

Located in the Tomorrowland Launch Depot, guests will first go through an Image Capture will scan of their facial features. Then, you’ll select your helmet and body configuration. You then decide your Program. You can choose to be an Enforcer, a Combatant, a Scout or a Heavy Sentry. You then decide on a team color. Finally, you’ll visit Command Input, where you will record six lines of dialogue in your own voice.

It will take about 20 minutes to make selections. Once all of your choices have been made, your Program will be ready for retrieval within 60 minutes.
