Registration opens Feb. 16 for Annual Passholders preview of Tron
Disney has announced registration for the Annual Passholders preview of the new TRON Lightcycle/Run opening on April 4, 2023, at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
No dates and times have yet been released. Disney sent out this morning to Annual Passholders the following information:
As an Annual Passholder, you’re invited to be among the first to experience the high-tech, high-speed thrills of TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise.
Climb aboard your own lightcycle and enter the Grid, a digital world with no horizons. Push past the limits of what you’ve ever experienced at Magic Kingdom® Park in the fastest ride in Disney Parks history.
Be on the lookout for an email when registration opens on February 16.

Disney Vacation Club Members will also be getting the opportunity for a preview. Cast Member previews are now taking place.
The coaster, located next to Space Mountain in the Tomorrowland section of Magic Kingdom, took nearly four yeas to build due to COVID-19 shutdown and other issues Disney was tackling. The attraction is similar to the one that opened at Shanghai Disneyland on Jun 16, 2016.
The new attraction picks up following the events of ‘TRON: Legacy,’ whose main character, Sam Flynn, is now opening new gateways into this digital realm at specific locations around the world. The first portal he created is at Shanghai Disneyland with the original TRON Lightcycle Power Run, and now Magic Kingdom guests will get their turn through this second gateway.
The new ride will use the virtual queue system and have lockers.
