Disney is trying out a new virtual line system.
The goal is to decrease wait time further and give people more time to explore other attractions, eat or shop.

The system is being tested at Downhill Double Dipper at Blizard Beach, and Slush Gusher and Summit Plummet plus the new Miss Adventure Falls at Typhoon Lagoon.

Unlike the FastPass+ system where you get an hour time period to return and get into line, this system gives a 15-minute window to return. This was done by handing out cards with the time periods, MagicBands were not used. The card warned of moderate wait times.

The experiment will last into early April, according to various Internet reports and several Disney World cast members.
