New intro featuring Walt Disney added to ‘Disney Enchantment’ fireworks

When “Disney Enchantment” fireworks at Magic Kingdom debuted as part of Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration on Sept. 30, 2021, someone was missing – Walt Disney.

After all, this was to be the start of the 50th anniversary of the park and when the show started there was no nod to visionary behind it all. Until now.

A two-minute intro to the fireworks has been added to Magic Kingdom Park fireworks helping to celebrate Walt Disney’s vision and 50 years of magic.

This modified version includes clips of Walt Disney, Roy Disney and Central Florida prior to opening day and construction of the theme park. Clips from the famous “Floruda Project” video Walt Disney filmed to show what was to come are included, as well as some archival footage.

The projections take place around the area around the 50th anniversary logo and below.
