Feathered Friends in Flight at Animal Kingdom closing for refurbishment

The “Feathered Friends in Flight” show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will close for about a week for refurbishment in September.

The show will close on Sept. 11 and reopen to guests on Sept. 25. “Feathered Friends in Flight” features animal behavior specialists for a behind-the-scenes look at the free-flying birds at the Anandapur Theater.

Other refurbishments taking place at Walt Disney World include:

Walt Disney World Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park: The trains are closed as the Tron attraction is being built. No reopening date has been announced.

Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian: The restaurant at is currently closed for refurbishment. No reopening date has been announced.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: The show closes on Aug. 22 and reopens on Sept. 16.
