Maps showing the Fab 50 golden statues at Disney World
The introduction of the new MagicBand+ this week brings renewed interest to the Fab 50 statues at the four Disney theme parks. To help find them we created a few maps.
The 50 characters chosen represent stories that move people to dream bigger, follow passions and believe in the power of magic, according to Disney.
Each character shares in Walt Disney World Resort’s legacy of hope and optimism, where “two tiny wings” become a source of imagination, where sidekicks become heroes and where unlikely duos become the best of friends.
The majority of the statues are located at Magic Kingdom and that will be the one place where you will be able to go around, at a fast clip, to see and interact with the statues. Using the MagicBand+ you will be able to locate the 36 sculptures featuring one or two Disney, Pixar, Marvel or Star Wars characters.
In the past, peopleMagicBand+ will allow people to interact with the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection throughout all four theme parks with the “Disney Fab 50 Quest.” Help Tinker Bell bring the sculptures to life across all four Walt Disney World theme parks using virtual pixie dust from Tink. To unlock even more during your quest, use the Play Disney Parks app to collect the sculptures and enter the worlds of your favorite characters through an augmented reality feature.
