Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion closes in August for Holiday Mansion makeover

Soon it will be that time of the year – Halloween. And to get there, the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland will be closing for refurbishment in August for a couple of weeks to turned into the Haunted Mansion Holiday for Halloween Time at Disneyland.

The attraction will close for August 15 and reopen Sept. 2, 2022.

In the Haunted Mansion Holiday version Jack Skellington from “Tim Burton’s the Nightmare Before Christmas” transforms the mansion. Jack, Sally, Zero and other characters let the 999 Happy Haunts take a little vacation as they all moved into the mansion for Halloween and Christmas.

Inside the mansion’s hall and at the centerpiece of the grand table every year is a giant gingerbread house.
