In May, during Star Wars Celebration, Disney asked all to vote on the next Legacy Lightsaber Hilt to be added to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, and there is a winner. It’s the hilt of Padawan Caleb Dume, also known as Kanan Jarrus.
Jurrus, introduced to us all in “Star Wars: Rebels,” survived the Emperor’s purge, going underground for years and hiding the truth about who he really was. Carrying a lightsaber openly in the age of the Empire would have given away his affiliation as a Jedi, so he kept his lightsaber in pieces on his belt only to be assembled when necessary.
No date has been set yet on when that will be made available, however, Disney has revealed when two other hilts will be coming out.
The new Plo Koon Legacy Lightsaber Hilt will be available at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World beginning July 8, 2022.
And, a new Limited Edition Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsaber Hilt Set with a case that plays Ahsoka’s theme song when opened, includes two lightsaber hilts modeled after the lightsabers she uses in “Star Wars: Rebels” and includes an individually numbered limited edition plaque.
Only 6,000 of this limited-edition collector’s sets are being made available worldwide. They will be available for purchase in a limited quantity at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, only available at Walt Disney World Resort beginning July 1, 2022, until supplies last.
