Disney celebrating Halfway to Halloween in parks and online on April 28

You’ve heard of Christmas in July, now Disney is planning to celebrate “Halfway to Halloween” with a number of announcements on April 28, as well as on their social media channels.

This might mean we will finally know what the Halloween plans are for Disney World and Disneyland this season.

Disney Parks will be unveiling some Halloween-inspired eats and treats at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort later today. “And then, less than 24 hours later, we’ll be digging up another early must-see treat with a hauntingly helpful Halloween-themed At-Home Planning Guide,” Disney announced on the Disney Parks Blog.

On Wednesday, April 27, there is a @DisneyParks Twitter Watch Party at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. featuring a film on Disney+, most likely “Hocus Pocus. Bring your favorite snacks and join us live on Twitter on April 27 beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. 

On Thursday, April 28, Disney Parks will share Halloween announcements.There will also be a first-of-its-kind TikTok Live beginning at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT. It will be the first time they are live from multiple Disney Parks locations and Disney Cruise Line. In addition, guests at Disney Parks to Disney bound in outfits inspired by their favorite Disney Halloween character, film, attraction or theme – costumes are not allowed.
