Photos, Video: Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure Cavalcade

The cavalcades featuring characters on parade are continuing at Magic Kingdom at Disney World. Disney recently added a new cavalcade “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade” featuring over two-dozen characters. But a few others still remain, including Tinker Bell.

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure Cavalcade is a brief cavalcade featuring Tinker Bell on top a large treasure chest with the song “Following the Leader” from the Disney film playing.

The showtimes for the cavalcade are normally 11:05 a.m., 1:55 p.,m., 3:10 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

Tinker Bell’s name came from the fact that she was originally a fairy who fixed pots and kettles, just like a tinsmith or tinker. In the original Peter Pan play by J.M. Barrie, Tinker Bell communicated with a tinkling bell sound. Walt Disney adapted this for the film.
