Canopy being installed on exterior of TRON at Magic Kingdom

Construction workers are now covering the exterior of the TRON Lightcycle / Run with what looks to be the building’s signature canopy.

The workers are using cherry pickers to install the canopy, which provides cover for the exterior track.

The new coaster being built next to Space Mountain is based on Shanghai Disneyland’s TRON Lightcycle Power Run.  Guests will board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles that will take them inside and outside the attraction’s building, reaching speeds of nearly 60 miles. The ride lasts about two minutes.
