What time, TV, channel is the Disney Christmas Day Parade 2021?
The annual Disney Christmas Day tradition returns to ABC this year bringing viewers into Disney parks to see the special Disney Christmas Day parade.
The parade returns this year after it was sidelined last year due to the pandemic. While Disney did produce a Christmas special in 2020 it did not include the parade.
This year the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” includes scenes from both Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida, including performances by a number of stars.
The show has been a staple on Christmas Day since it was introduced in 1983. The parade was originally broadcast live on Christmas Day with some pre-taped spots until the mid-1990s. The program, as well as the Thanksviging special, is now taped in November at the various parks.
What time is the special?
The show will air Saturday, Dec. 25 at 10 a.m. ET/PT and 9 a.m. CT/MT on ABC. This is a two-hour special.
Who is hosting the show?
Derek and Julianne Hough return to host the show tih Freeform’s Trevor Jackson (“grown-ish”) hosting from Walt Disney World and Sherry Cola (“Good Trouble”) hosting from Disneyland. This year’s Christmas special will feature musical performances, holly jolly laughs, heartwarming family stories, and special sneak peeks.
