New Year’s Eve fireworks return to Disney World this year

This year New Year’s Eve fireworks return to both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom this year after being absent due to the pandemic.

While the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks at Magic Kingdom is returning Dec. 30 and Dec. 31, 2021 at 11:50 p.m. with a countdown to midnight, they will not be shown earlier in the evening as Disney has done in the past. Instead, the Disney Enchantment fireworks will be shown at 6:30 p.m.

At EPCOT, New Year’s Eve countdown fireworks will be shown starting at 11:50 p.m. on Dec. 31 only. The normal Harmonious nigntime show will be held at 6:30 p.m.
