Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade has a Lightning Lane viewing areas

Daytime parades return to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World today as Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade transitions from the nighttime Disney Very Merriest After Hours event to daytime.

The parade will be held twice daily – noon and 3:45 p.m. – from today, Dec. 22 through Dec. 31, 2021.

In addition, Disney has added a Lightning Lane viewing area near Cinderella Castle according to Disney Genie. You should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the parade time.

This version of the parade is different from when we last saw it in 2019. Missing this year were some characters that have appeared in the past, including the Seven Dwarfs, the festive ballroom dancers and Goofy’s Gumball Machine Float.
