Bring on the bling! The latest 50th anniversary Spirit Jersey designs are both suitable for a New Year’s Eve party that’s casual but demands just a little shimmer.
The newest entry is the Sequined Spirit Jersey. All those stripes and the Walt Disney World logo on the back are all made of sequins. So. Many. Sequins. (For Disneyland aficionados, there’s a DL version with a Mickey Mouse embroidered on the front in place of the 50th-anniversary logo.)
The second design, which Disney bills as corduroy, is black with gold pinstripes. The material is much more lightweight than I was expecting, especially given the price. Matching sweatpants also are available, though it’s hard to think of them as actual “sweatpants.” I wouldn’t call either of them comfy or cozy. But definitely dramatic.
(I’ll admit, it bums me out that these are still available, but the 50th castle Spirit Jersey sold out in a hot minute.)
