Video: Meet Père Noël at EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
When Père Noël takes to the stage at the France pavilion in EPCOT he retells the story of Babette, a little girl who writes to him and explains how she enjoys the traditions with her family this time of year.
Père Noël retakes the stage this year as the various storytellers have returned to EPCOT. Yesterday, we introduced you to Levi the Hanukkah storyteller, and we will continue to go around the World Showcase sharing the stories from all the storytellers.
Père Noël explains that after Midnight Mass many families in France enjoy a meal together called Le Réveillon. As the Yule log crackles on the fire, the children await the arrival of Father Christmas who comes to fill their shoes with presents.
