Learn how to make your own 3-D Haunted Mansion decorations
Have you ever wanted to create spooky decorations and dress up your home like the Haunted Mansion from Disneyland?
How about creating shadow puppets, includeing rotating hand shadows, the Hitchhiking Ghosts, the Hatbox Ghost, and others?
Disney is launching a new four-part series of Disney Paper Parks containing printable activity sheets to help all create something special for your homes.In July Disney released a similar series on how to create a 3-D Sleeping Beauty Castle just like you would find at Disneyland.
The first release includes Haunted Mansion home decorations. From the bats atop the queue stanchions to paper chains inspired by the Haunted Mansion’s wallpaper, the finishes will set the mood of the mansion in your home.
The sheets were created for the Disney Parks Blog by Imagineers Stephanie Jazmines and Amy Young.
To do this, Disney suggests:
- Printing the sheets at their actual size, not scaling them to fit the page.
- You will require the use of scissors, glue and folding along dotted lines in specific directions.
- Adult participation or supervision for those with little ones is recommended.
