New projection light show coming to Magic Kingdom on Nov. 4
A new light projection show on the Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World will debut Nov. 4, 2016.
The “Once Upon a Time” show features classic Disney fairy tales and is narrated by Mrs. Potts from “Beauty and the Beast” who share “once upon a time” bedtime stories with Chip, according to a news release.
The castle opens up like a story book with projected scenes from classics such as Peter Pan flying above the rooftops of London to Never Land, a whimsical tea party hosted by the Mad Hatter and Winnie the Pooh rising to the top of the Castle while he hangs from a colorful balloon.
The show culminates with scenes from “Beauty and the Beast” and as Mrs. Potts concludes her story with fireworks bursting from the Castle.
“Once Upon a Time” replaces the “Celebrate the Magic” projection show which ends its four-year run on Nov. 3.
