Watch live streaming ‘Harmonious,’ ‘Disney Enchantment’ end of Sept.
Both of Walt Disney World’s new nighttime entertainment spectaculars will debut to the public via live streams before starting their run on Oct. 1 for the 50th-anniversary celebration.
“Harmonious” at EPCOT will be live-streamed on Wednesday, Sept. 29 starting at 9 p.m. The next day, “Disney Enchantment” at Magic Kingdom will be live-streamed on Thursday, Sept. 30 starting at 10:15 p.m. ET.
They can be seen @DisneyParks on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube and most likely will be available on the Disney Parks Blog.
Normally, Disney has presented live streams of events either on the first night or a few days after the introduction. This is an unusual move to present it prior to the general public being in the park. It could also be that portions of this could show up on the Oct. 1 ABC special “The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World” airing from 8 p.m. to 10:01 p.m.
The first of the two shows, “Harmonious” is one of the largest nighttime spectaculars created for a Disney park. The show pays tribute to the stories and songs that unite us all featuring new technical magic that includes special pyrotechnics, moving fountains, special lighting and media. This will give us a real first look at how the barges now in the middle of the World Showcase Lagoon work.
In this show, you travel the globe through new interpretations of classic Disney songs. The songs are reimagined in more than a dozen languages by a diverse group of 240 artists from around the world.
“Disney Enchantment,” at Magic Kingdom is created to inspire all to believe in magic, with Disney music, enhanced lighting, and immersive projection effects that extend – for the first time – from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A.
