Steakhouse 71 at Contemporary opening Oct. 1. Here’s the menu
The new Steakhouse 71, taking over the place of The Wave, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will open Oct. 1 wtih offerings for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The restaurant gets its name from the year the resort opened and contains some design elements from that year and some hints of the Florida heritage, including subtle sightings of Orange Bird and citrus groves, according to Disney.
Reservations for Steakhouse 71 are available beginning Sept. 16.
Disney is also giving us a look at the menus.
Breakfast
The breakfast menu offers everything from Fresh-baked Pastries and Avocado Toast to Walt’s Prime Rib Hash and Eggs Benedict. Enjoy a variety of wake-up sips like the Steakhouse Bloody Mary and the Bourbon Cold Brew (Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew, bourbon, maple, vanilla bean cream), as well as espresso, cappuccino, latte, freshly brewed coffee, assorted teas, and juices.
Lunch
The service includes a Wedge Salad and Steakhouse 71 Stack Burger.
Dinner
For the entrée, you get a choice of the type of steak cut you want and then can choose your side and sauce that you want to go with the steak. If you are not interested in steak, there are also fish, chicken, and plant-based offerings as well.
Desserts
The Steakhouse Chocolate cake is a 15-layer cake, one layer for every floor at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
Lounge
The retro Steakhouse 71 Lounge has a number of bites.
And kids get to be creative with their meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They can choose an entrée, select two sides, and a drink from a menu that includes oatmeal with dried cranberries and Mickey-shaped waffles for breakfast and PBJ wings and cheeseburgers for lunch and dinner. They can even create their own ice cream sundae!
