Rocket, Groot named to Disney Fab 50 Character Collection

The first Marvel characters have been named to the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection that is coming to Walt Disney World for its 50th anniversary.

Zach Ridley, Creative Portfolio Executive at Disney Imagineering, announced that Rocket and Groot, will be among the 50 golden statues that will be placed around all four theme parks during the 18-month  “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” that kicks off on Oct. 1.

The two will be seen at EPCOT.
