Aladdin is Broadway bound

Tony-winning composer Alan Menken recently debuted a new song called “Somebody’s Got Your Back,” a new song for the stage version of Aladdin, according to Playbill.

If you’ve ever seen the Aladdin show in Disneyland then you know that the show already looks Broadway worthy. The last production of the show was this summer at The Muny in St. Louis featuring Tony nominees Robin De Jesus and John Tartaglia as Aladdin and the Genie. Utah’s Tuacahn Theater is presenting the musical through October.
