Walt Disney World will resume Annual Pass sales for 50th Anniversary

The same day Disney announced a new Disneyland passholder program, it also said that Walt Disney World will resume sales of Walt Disney World Annual Passes in time for the 50th-anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World, which kicks off Oct. 1, 2021.

When Walt Disney World reopened last year after closing due to the pandemic it had decided to stop selling Walt Disney World Annual Passes. Current passholders were able to renew if the pass had expired, but no new ones were being sold.

Now, Disney has announced: “And for those wondering about Walt Disney World Annual Passes, new pass sales will become available in time for the start of the 50th-anniversary celebration! Walt Disney World Resort will be sharing additional information and details later this month…”

More details should be coming soon the exact date of the announcement and when sales will resume. We can also assume that like at Disneyland, the park reservation system is here to stay.
