New Bahamas vaccination order could impact your Disney Cruise trip
All cruise passengers entering a Bahamas port who are ages 12 and older must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to enter the port starting Sept. 3 and now lasting through Nov. 1, according to an emergency order issued today, Aug. 19, by Bahamas prime minister Hubert Minnis.
This includes all private islands like Disney’s Castaway Cay.
According to the emergency order, prior to arriving in port, the ship’s captain will be required to submit a manifest disclosing the vaccination status of all people aboard. This will not apply for those passengers over 12 years of who can not be vaccinated for medical reasons.
Disney Cruise Line has not yet responded concerning the order.
