Ferrytale Fireworks dessert cruises returning in September at Disney World

Disney World is bringing back the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise just in time to catch the end of “Happily Ever After” fireworks at Magic Kingdom.

The cruise returns starting Sept. 18, 2021. Happily Ever After’s last performance is Sept. 29. At this point on the website you can only reserve for Sept. 18. And there is no indication that the dates will return on Oct. 1 for the new 50th anniversary fireworks shows “Disney Enchantment,” but it’s a good bet.

The cost for the event is $99 for adults and $69 for children ages 3 to 9 (tax and gratuity included) and even includes a special takeaway surprise. Annual Passholders receive a 10% discount.

The night starts about 90 minutes before fireworks as you climb aboard one of ferryboats from the Ticket and Transportation Center.

Once you cast off, the celebration continues with a stellar selection of bite-size signature treats, from KABOOM! Cupcakes and Rocket Burst Popcorn Push Ups to Red Velvet Wow! Pie and Grand Finale Key Lime Tarts. You can even Build Your Own Mousse.

There are a number of specialty drinks with and without alcohol and for the kids or big kids, there’s also an ultraviolet scavenger hunt.

From the middle of the lagoon you then get to watch the fireworks, with the music and you put on special “Mickey Vision” glasses to help transform your viewing experience

Advance reservations are highly recommended.
