Boma-Flavors of Africa buffet reopens on Aug. 20 at Disney World

Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will reopen on Friday, Aug. 20 and it will reopen as a full buffet, according to Disney.

Boma’s reopening coincides with Aug. 20 reopening of the Animal Kingdom Loddge.

Boma will be the first full buffet to return to Walt Disney World. Currently, former buffets have been transformed to family-style dining with plates of food delivered to tables.

Guests at Boma, will be able to leave their table to head to a food-service area. It is unknown if guests will be serving themselves or if Cast Members will be spooning out food. In addition, it is unknown if you will have an option of having family-style plates delivered to tables as is done in other restaurants.
