Winnie the Pooh, Piglet added to the Fab 50 Character Collection
Two more beloved characters have been announced for the upcoming Disney Fab 50 Characters Collection coming to Walt Disney World for its 50th anniversary.
George A. Kalogridis, Walt Disney World 50th Global Ambassador and former president of The Walt Disney World Resort, announced that Winnie the Pooh and Piglet will be joining other characters as golden statues.
The characters will be placed around the four theme parks during the 18-month “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” beginning Oct. 1, 2021.
Winnie the Pool and Piglet will be placed at the Magic Kingdom.
In addition to Daisy, the following characters have been announced:
More character sculptures will be announced in the upcoming weeks by Disney friends, including Walt Disney World, Disney+, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, D23, Disney Channel, NatGeoTV, Disney Vacation Club and more.
