2 Magic Kingdom rides will have brief refurbishments later this month

Two popular rides in the Magic Kingdom, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin and it’s a small world, will be down for a few days each for refurbishment later this July.

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin will be closed for refurbishment July 20 through 22, reopening on July 23.

In addition, it’s a small world will be close for refurbishment July 27 through 29, reopening on July 30. Disney has not given any indication if anything special is being done or if this is just routine maintenance taking place.

In addition to these two attractions:

• Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station remains closed
• Enchanted Tales with Belle remains closed.
• Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade remains closed.
• Hall of Presidents remains closed for refurbishment and update, no reopening date has been announced.
• Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor remains closed.
• Walt Disney World Railroad remains closed during the construction of the new Tron attraction being built. The trains and tracks are being refurbished. There is no reopening date announced.
