Disney World to test Magic Kingdom fireworks tonight and June 29
Walt Disney World will be testing out the “Happily Ever After” fireworks show tonight, June 26 and on June 29 after regular park hours.
No guests will be in the park when this happens , but “neighbors and resort guests near Magic Kingdom Park may hear a familiar sound as we test our fireworks before their official debut on July 1,” according to Disney.
The June 29 test will be one where cast members will be allowed to attend.
Disney is bringing back fireworks and nighttime shows at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT on July 1.
The tradition returns at the Magic Kingdom with “Happily Ever After” fireworks transforming Cinderella Castle with lights, projections and pyrotechnics, as moments from favorite Disney stories are projected on the castle.
At EPCOT, “EPCOT Forever” will produce fireworks, music and lighting effects over World Showcase Lagoon, highlighting the themes of innovation, exploration, imagination and celebration at the core of the park’s past, present and future.
