Universal Orlando no longer requiring fully vaccinated to wear masks

Starting tomorrow, May 29, 2021, face coverings will no longer be required to be worn inside at Universal Orlando Resort or on any attractions for those who are fully vaccinated.

“In accordance with CDC guidelines, face coverings are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests, indoors or outdoors. While we do not require proof of vaccination, we do expect those who are not fully vaccinated to wear face coverings while indoors,” Universal Orlando stated on its website.

“We encourage all guests to keep a safe distance between travel parties, and we remain focused on maintaining the highest cleanliness and sanitization standards,” the site went on to stay.

Here are the latest safety updates for Universal Orlando:

  • Face coverings are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests
  • We do not require proof of vaccinations
  • Guests who are not fully vaccinated are still expected to wear face coverings while indoors
  • We encourage all guests to keep a safe distance between travel parties
  • We remain focused on maintaining the highest cleanliness and sanitization standards

While Universal Orlando has made this change Walt Disney World at now is still requiring guests to wear face coverings indoors and on attractions.
