The Wave at Contemporary Resort closing this summer for refurbishment
The Wave… of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be closed for refurbishment this summer to be complete in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney stated on its site.
The Contemporary Resort’s main tower rooms are now being refurbished, it is believed, in an Incredibles theme. The specifics of the refurbishment have not been announced.
No exact reopening timeframe has been announced for The Wave. Reservations will continue to be available through July 15, 2021.
Disney has also announced more changes to dining today as well, including character dinner at Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort and the reopening of Cape may Café Disney Beach Club Resort and the Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
