Big Thunder Mountain to close for refurbishment in June at Magic Kingdom

The wildest ride in the wilderness at Magic Kingdom will be closing down for refurbishment for a week in June. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be closed for refurbishment from June 7 through June 12, 2021, according to the Disney World website.

Disney has not announced what type of work will be done during the refurbishment.

The other closures due to refurbishment in June at Magic Kingdom at this point include the Hall of Presidents, the Main Street Confectionary and the Walt Disney World Railroad.
