An aerial look at where Moana attraction, popcorn stand will be at EPCOT
A couple of recent aerial photos of EPCOT provide a better view of where the new Moana attraction, festival area and a new popcorn stand will be located.
The area behind Spaceship Earth has been under construction since 2019 and will be called the World Celebration area. Innoventions West was completely torn down to make way for the first-ever attraction based on the Disney film “Moana.” Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” will be an area where guests interact with magical, living water in a beautiful and inspiring setting.
At the bottom of the photo, taken by theme park aerial photographer @bioreconstruct, will be a festival area and Dreamers Point there will be a new statue of Walt Disney.
If we swing around to the east part of the World of Celebration, we can see where there new Creations Shop, which will be the new main gift shop replacing MouseGear. The area will also include the relocated Club Cool, a shop where guests can try the different Coca-Cola soda products from around the world. In addition, if you look closely to the bottom left of the photo, there is a blue and white kiosk, which is a new popcorn kiosk.
The Creations Shop and Club Cool are scheduled to open this summer.
