Reopening date set for Disney’s BoardWalk Inn at Disney World

Disney’s Boardwalk Inn will reopen to the public on July 2, 2021, opening up 375 more rooms for those wanting to visit The Walt Disney World Resort.

While the BoardWalk Villas have been open because they are Disney Vacation Club properties, the main hotel and a number of amenities and restaurants on the BoardWalk have not yet reopened. It is unknown if the popular Flying Fish or ESPN Club will reopen once all the hotel space come back.

The reopening of BoardWalk Inn will mean that all of the EPCOT area resort hotels will have reopened. On May 30, Disney’s Beach Club directly across the BoardWalk off Crescent Lake reopens.

Other resorts reopening this spring and summer include Disney’s Wilderness Lodge on June 6 and Disney’s Polynesian Resort sometime in July.

Hotels that have not reopened include:

  • Disney’s All-Star Music Resort – No plans announced to reopen
  • Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort – No plans announced to reopen
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – No plans announced to reopen
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter – No plans announced to reopen
  • Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside – No plans announced to reopen
