Photos: Tron Lightcycle/Run construction update shows work on canopy

Workers are continuing to remove temporary supports for the large canopy that is part of the new TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction being built at the Magic Kingdom.

The canopy, which covers the exterior track is complete and now the temporary supports are being removed. Near Space Mountain and The Barnstormer you can get a sense of how the canopy’s size.

The new coaster being built next to Space Mountain is based on Shanghai Disneyland’s TRON Lightcycle Power Run.  Guests will board a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles that will take them inside and outside the attraction’s building, reaching speeds of nearly 60 miles. The ride lasts about two minutes.
