Here are six things to look forward to this Spring at Disney World:
March 1: The 24th Annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off at Epcot. The festival now runs 90 days, until May 29 and features new outdoor kitchens and new menus, topiaries and Garden Rocks Concert Series.
Date Still To Be Announced: Miss Adventure Falls, the newest family attraction at Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, is a family-style raft adventure. During the 2-minute ride, the raft ascends to the top of the attraction in rafts, only to plunge into a whitewater adventure
April 2: The Bon Voyage Character Breakfast will begin April 2, 2017 and feature Disney characters such as Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel and Prince Eric. The breakfast will take place at the Trattoria al Forno at the BoardWalk Resort.
May 12: A new 18-minute fireworks display called “Happily Ever After” kicks off, featuring more lasers, lights and projections than any Magic Kingdom Park show before. Cinderella Castle becomes part of the story with projections bringing more than 25 Disney stories to life on the castle.
May 27: Pandora – The World of Avatar opens at Animal Kingdom. This new area is billed as transporting guests to the mystical planet of bioluminescent rainforests, floating mountains and soaring Banshees.Thee are two main adventures — Avatar Flight of Passage, sending guests flying above the jungles of Pandora on a Mountain Banshee and Na’vi River Journey is a boat ride that sails down a sacred river hidden and an encounter with a Na’vi Shaman.
