Mickey, Minnie Cavalcade ending at EPCOT in May

The “Mickey & Friends World Tour” Character Cavalcade will make its last ride around EPCOT on May 4, 2021, as Disney is opting to have the characters stand at various locations in the park to seen by guests.

When Disney World reopened last July and needed to cancel in-person meet and greets, they opted to have characters travel around in EPCOT. Originally there were three cavalcades, “The Mickey & Friends World Tour”, “Anna and Elsa” and “Princess Promenade.”

The Anna and Elsa cavalcade has come to an end with the characters appearing – from a distance – at Norway.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will most likely appear at the front of the parks starting May 5. Pluto and Goofy have been seen at the front with some bushes between the characters and guests to create a safe distance.

This will leave the “Princess Promenade” as the only cavalcade left at EPCOT.

There are still cavalcades at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
