Spring Break has brought a flood of visitors back to Walt Disney World and has brought some of the four theme parks to full capacity on various days. But, there is one park everyone wants to go to and has become a more difficult to get a reservation – Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The park, home to the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which is the “it” ride to do, has only two days available between now and June 18 that you can make a park reservation if you have purchased a ticket or are staying at Disney World Resort hotel. Those dates are May 9 and May 22.
(Remember, purchasing a ticket is not just enough. Once you have the ticket you need to obtain a park reservation.)
And, there are no park reservations available for the remainder of this week or on April 17. If you are an Annual Passholder, there are still plenty of dates available between now and May 31.
This theoretically could change if Disney were to release more park reservations, but at this point it seems they might be legitimately at full capacity.
The park reservation to Hollywood Studios is only the first hurdle in an attempt to board Rise of the Resistance. The next step is to try and get into the virtual queue.
All of this adds up to a big reminder, that planning ahead is necessary. And for those who are planning trips after mid-June and are not Annual Passholders, you should make a park reservation as soon as you purchase a ticket.
