5 cool aerial photos of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom

Work on the 50th anniversary makeover of Cinderella Castle is taking place at Walt Disney World and now it appears all of the buntings has been placed on the castle. But there is still work to be complete.

Our favorite aerial photographer @bioreconstruct has again taken to the skies to share the work that is taking place and provide all with a rare point of view.

Here you can see bunting now surrounds the the castle. In addition to the turrets have received fresh blue paint to replace the purplish color.

The bunting features a royal blue jewel with gold detailing and shimmering draping. In addition to the blue jewels there are also medallions placed at the end the embellishments with a gold 50.

Above you can see that the water around the castle has been drained as work continues on the painting and putting up the various details.

The 50th anniversary celebration kicks off on Oct. 1, 2021, and will last for 18 months. Dubbed “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,”  the celebratory event will feature new experiences at the resort’s four theme parks. The castle will also receive a 50th-anniversary crest on the front.
