We had been hoping that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, which has been undergoing a major refurbishment was going to open this weekend, as it was touted on the schedule. But, the reopening of the ride will again be delayed.
Disney World has not officially released a reason for the long delay. And, it has been a long one. The attraction never reopened with the rest of the park on in July 2020.
The attraction is getting a major upgrade of new sensors to prevent ride vehicles from slamming into each other, according to BlogMickey.com.
The 10minute ride, which takes you on a tour of Tomorrowland, is a fan favorite. It provides a nice respite and also great views of construction of the new new TRON Lightcycle/Run attraction coming to the Magic Kingdom.
