Photos: More bunting added to Cinderella Castle for 50th anniversary
Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom is almost completely decked out with the bunting as it transforms into its 50th-anniversary look.
Over the past few weeks the castle has been getting an updated paint job and and royal bunting has been attached to the sides and front of the castle.
The bunting features a royal blue jewel with gold detailing and shimmering draping. From below we can see that the one spot still missing the is the front left turret.
The 50th-anniversary celebration kicks off on Oct. 1, 2021, and will last for 18 months. Dubbed “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” the celebratory event will feature new experiences at the resort’s four theme parks. The castle will also receive a 50th-anniversary crest at the front.
In addition to the blue jewels there are also medallions placed at the end the embellishments with a gold 50.
