New entrance flags were raised for the first time today, March 3, at EPCOT as the start of the Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival kicks off.
Flags of the six original EPCOT icons were raised at the main entrance. The flags now flank Spaceship Earth. In addition, there is a new music loop at the entrance and tonight there will be a new lighting sequence on Spaceship Earth.
This is all part of the major transformation taking place at EPCOT in Walt Disney World.
