List of Disney Stores closing in the U.S., Canada on March 23

Disney last week announced it will be closing at least 60 stores in North America to focus more on its ecommerce business and now the specific stores are starting to appear on the Disney Store website.

The stores will be closing on March 23.

“Over the past few years, we’ve been focused on meeting consumers where they are already spending their time, such as the expansion of Disney store shop-in-shops around the world. We now plan to create a more flexible, interconnected ecommerce experience that gives consumers easy access to unique, high-quality products across all our franchise,” Stephanie Young, president, Consumer Products Games and Publishing has said.

A large amount of the stores are located in California and Texas.

While Disney has announced it plans to close at least 60, the list so far contains 40 stores.
