Disney MagicMobile can now be used to enter Disney World theme parks

Walt Disney World guests can now use their iPhone and Apple Watch to enter theme parks instead of MagicBands and entry tickets with the new Disney MagicMobile service.

While MagicBands can still be used, this is another option being offered by Disney. Other smart devices will eventually be added to the list.

How to Set Up Disney MagicMobile

Here’s how to use the Disney MagicMobile feature:

1. Make sure that you have the My Disney Experience app on your phone.

2. Go into the My Disney Experience app. Click on the “hamburger” located on the lower right of the screen to get you to the Welcome screen.

3. Click on the Disney MagicMobile pass

4. You can customize your pass by choosing from several Disney-themed designs that animate upon use (including special designs just for Annual Passholders and DVC Members)

5. For added ease, you may also store multiple passes on a single device, a great option for families.

6. Then add to the Apple Wallet for easy use. It will also appear on your Apple Watch.

How to Enter the Parks with Disney MagicMobile

To get into the park, hold your iPhone, Apple Watch, near an access point when entering the parks, just like you do with a MagicBand. With Express Mode on iPhone and Apple Watch, guests do not even need to wake or unlock their Apple device, or open up the app, to use their Disney MagicMobile pass. As a reminder, valid park admission and a park reservation are required for park entry and must be linked to your account.
